ShadK - Keep Shining

Okay...so I was going to write about a ShadK concert I went to, but while I was watching one of his latest videos my heart shifted.  I am all about women rising up to be good role models and for young girls to have a voice in this world, and this video made me all choked up and stuff.....aaarrrggghhhhh.  Why do I gotta be so passionate about this!!?? haha....it's way too hard on me,... (just jokes).  I will tell details later of the concert and why I like this artist so much, but first I would like you to check out this very inspiring video.

I am a big fan of this guy. Hip hop is not dead....people like this keep the real hip hop alive. And I agree with Shad...we need more women in rap. I was so pumped when Shad beat out Drake for best rap album of the year (Junos). Finally, some quality talent was recognized. The concert I went to (with my amazing husband), was awesome! It was small and intimate and I think Shad enjoyed it....I know we all did. He seems like a very down to earth humble guy. He even came into the audience and cyphered with us....
